___________COLUMN SUBSCRIBERS HAVE SUCCESS IN HONG KONG!______________

Dallas native Brad McEntire (Column subscriber) has been causing theatrical mayhem in Southest Asia over the past two months. He wrote, directed and designed a musical shadow puppet adaptation of RAPUNZEL which played in early April. RAPUNZEL will be remounted here in Texas this fall at Plano Children's Theatre.

In April McEntire also performed with Plano's Jeff Swearingen (Column subscriber, 2002 Column Award winner) who traveled to Hong Kong for the international premiere of their two-man comedy show FUN DIP. It played to sell-out crowds at Hong Kong's Le Rideau Theatre Café and Jeff and Brad were featured on a local Hong Kong television show.

McEntire also debuted his own solo improv format DRIBBLE FUNK in Hong Kong at the beginning of June, also at Le Rideau, as well as his original one-man silent clown/puppet piece MR. FRUMP'S FLIGHT AT NIGHT. He has been studying mask and puppet performance in China over the past year and will return to the DFW area in late August.
