Masks

I designed this blue mask to wear for the Undermain Theatre's World Theatre Day Parade in the Deep Ellum neighborhood of Dallas, Texas (March 2006). It is made of paper mache and painted with acrylic paint. SIDE NOTE: I also painted that sign.

This is a mask I created for part of a mask/puppet/movement show called THE LUNATIST [AND RELATED TALES OF WOE]. The skull belonged to a character from a part of the show called "Roselita's Dead Man." It is made of paper mache and painted with acrylic paint. The clay used to sculpt the design was "borrowed" from a dirt pile next to a church behind the house I was staying in at the time.
